Our Story

The Pink Ribbon Cup Raceday is Australia’s largest community fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) raising funds for vital breast cancer research.

Declared by the Gold Coast Bulletin as “the most notable charity event of the year held at the Gold Coast Turf Club”, the success of the day is due to a team of committed volunteers headed up by two-time breast cancer survivor, Robyn Cameron and of course, the support of the Gold Coast community.

With annual attendance of approx. 5000 patrons, in 2020, the Raceday was recognised by both Racing Queensland and the Gold Coast Turf Club with an upgrade in status to a Metropolitan Raceday*, providing even more exposure for the event and our vital cause.

* Due to the challenges associated with the extensive track renovations currently occurring at Aquis Park, the 2023 raceday will be a regional raceday, but will be reinstated as a Metropolitan in 2024.
